Become a Foster – Save a Life

Fostering is one of the most impactful ways you can help animals in need. When you open your home to a foster pet, you’re not just providing temporary shelter — you're offering love, stability, and a second chance at life.

At CJ Rescue, we rely on a network of dedicated foster families to care for animals until they find their forever homes. Fostering helps us save more lives by freeing up space in shelters and allowing us to give animals the individualized care they need.

Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior cat, or an animal recovering from surgery, we match fosters with pets that suit their lifestyle and experience. We provide the supplies (crates, collars, harness, etc), and veterinary care — you provide the food, water, and love. We can help provide food if requested.

Fostering is flexible, rewarding, and truly life-changing — for both you and the animal. Join our foster team and become a hero to a pet in need.

Ready to foster? Fill out our Foster Application Form and start your journey today. We will reach out as soon as we can to talk about the journey along with our foster packet. We do have the right to conduct a home visit prior to your first foster to make sure the animal has a safe environment to thrive in!
