Featured Rescues

Junie

Junie was dumped at the on/off ramp of the I10. She was there for 5 days before she was rescued. Nevaeh worked with her for 24 hours before she was caught. She went and sat with her every hour during the day for her to gain Junie's trust. She was scared off by many different men.  We later found out that she had 7 puppies that were dumped in 3 different groups but in different areas miles apart and then Junie was dumped in a different areas. They have since been adopted and are in their own great homes. Junie is currently in the process of adoption to her own family.

Auto

Auto's story is that he once had a home before ours. He was kicked out for an unknown reason. He had been out and scared for at least 5 months.  It took us two weeks to trap Auto. We worked with him to trust the trap and eventually was able to be trapped. When Auto was out and scared he was seen as an aggressive Mal who couldn't be trusted at all. Since trapping Auto has became the sweetest boy who just wants love and acceptance. Auto has now became a part of our own personal pack.

Renegade

Renegade was found in the desert by a couple of Good Samaritans. I was contacted to try to help this girl who is deaf as they did not know how to train her. I ended up taking her in because we did not want her to end up in the wrong hands. She is the sweetest most bubbly girl and her being deaf does not affect her true personality. Instead of adopting Renegade out; we decided to keep Renegade as our own personal pup.

Drake

Drakes rescue actually consisted of his mom, 2 brothers, him, and his sister. Drakes whole litter and Mom were out and running loose. Drake's mom was dragging a chain behind her. No one claimed her so I took all of them in to make sure that they were safe and didn't end up in an unsafe place. The pups actually became sick with Parvo so we relinquished them to the Arizona Humane Society for support as Parvo is super expensive and we were not taking donations during this time. We actually adopted Drake back to be our personal pup who has turned into one of our two trained service dogs.

Riggs

Riggs was rescued a week before Drakes litter when Nevaeh ended up catching him with her own bare hands under a house. He was only 9 weeks when she caught him. We had seen Riggs and his siblings running for a few weeks. We tried to rescue the rest of his siblings as well but we were not able to get them to trust us enough to catch them. Riggs is now a part of our own personal pack.

Mars

Mars was rescued right off Wintersburg here in Tonopah. She was running down the side of a the road. She was friendly enough to trust us to get her to safety. She is a sweet and sassy girl who really shows you that she is a Husky. She is now apart of our pack.

Jade, Octavia, and Billie Blue Eyes.

These pups were found running alone by some good samaritans. They reached out on Facebook to see if we were able to take them in as they were 9 weeks when they were found. They stayed with our rescue for a while but now each have their own furever home.

Big Boy, Junie 2.0, Stacy, and Hank

This litter of pup ran across the road in front of our car. We rushed to contain them and tried to get their dad as well. We were unable to contain dad and we looked for multiple days to try to contain and rescue him. These babies behavior showed that they had little to no human interactions prior to us rescuing them. We worked with them to socialize them and they all found their furever homes.

Batman

Batman was found on a sidewalk by some good samaritan and brought to our vet. Our vet reached out to see if we were able to take him in, which we couldn't say no! He was sick with a URI among other illnesses. He also had the biggest polyp the vet had seen. This little man was sick for the first 7 months of his life but after multiple rounds of meds and surgery; he is now healthy and a stinker. He has found his forever home with us.

Mouse

Mouse was another find by a good samaritan and brought to our vet. We took him in as he was sick with a URI but now is healthy after rounds of meds! He has found his forever home with us.

LJ

LG was another find by a good samaritan and brought to our vet. We took him in as he was sick with a URI but now is healthy after rounds of meds! He has found his forever home with us.

Axel and Smitty

Axel and Smitty were found with their three other siblings in a dumpster with their mother that had already crossed the kitty rainbow bridge. They were 4 days old and needed bottle fed for many weeks. Their 3 siblings have found their forever homes and are doing well. Axel ended up having epilepsy but is stable on medication. Smitty is a healthy boy and they both have found their forever home with us.
